The Badges are a feature in Crash of Cars. They are small icons or sprites that show up next to the player's username.
Badges are only meant for aesthetic purposes, as to show off to other players. Otherwise they do not award the player with any special advantage.
Note: Although not all badges are shown here, all the 29 different types of badges (as of the 2021 Hollows update) and their respective highest level badge have been documented here. The highest level badge of each type of badge will appear larger below as compared to other badges.
Function
When equipped, a small icon will show up next to the player's username in-game and on the leaderboards. These badges will be visible to other players in the server unless they are unequipped or switched. With exception of Car Quests, all badges are shared between vehicles, regardless of what car the player is using.
Obtaining
- All badges have their own special requirements and varying difficulties.
- A notification for the unlocked badge will show up at the top of the screen in-game.
List of Badges
- Below is a table with a list of badges available and their requirements for obtaining. Keep in mind that not all badges had been documented and this list may change over time.
- Some badges are categorized with similar counterparts.
- To obtain these badges, you must collect a certain number of crowns. They are only obtainable in Crown Mode.

Hidden Car Badges
- To obtain these badges, you have to unlock 12 hidden cars, there are 15 in the game currently.
- Some hidden cars like the UFO, Snowmobile, and the Pumpkin Car, are unobtainable due to the maps removed meaning that this affects the hidden car badge progression.
- Note: you will obtain a badge when you get an even number of hidden cars up to 12.

- In order to obtain these badges you have to complete a certain number of car quests.

Phantom Boss Badges
These are badges you acquire after you defeat the Mega Phantom and Ultra Phantom bosses a certain number of times.

Skirmish Game Mode Badges
- There are two badge variants of skirmish mode: total number of crowns collected and number of crowns collected in one game.
- In the Blitz Mode Update, the badges are temporarily unobtainable due to Skirmish Mode being removed. They are obtainable again as of the 2020 Mansion Update.

Team Death Match Badges
These badges are only obtainable in the Team Deathmatch game mode.
- There are two variants of this badge: total wins and number of consecutive wins (regardless if the player quits the mode or game itself).
- Prior to the 2020 Mansion Update, even though badges are introduced in the Hollows Update and TDM is still present, no badges related to it are introduced.

In order to obtain these badges you must play the blitz game mode.
- There are three variants of these badges, total scores, total number of kills, and number of crowns collected in one match.

Capture The Flag Mode Badges
You can only obtain these badges in the Capture the Flag game mode.
There are 4 variants of the badges:
- Capture the Flag a certain number of times.
- Intercept an enemy carrying the flag a certain number of times.
- Number of wins in total.
- Number of Flag Captures in Private Matches.

Hidden Badges
If the player has not obtained these badges their text will be "???". The "Get Every Car" Badge will appear as a "?" when not unlocked.

Trivia
- Badges were first introduced in the 2018 Hollows update.
- Flags, which are used in the Stadium Update, are precursor to badges. Both are put beside the player's in-game name.
- If a player goes offline, their badge will disappear when viewed from another player's device, as bots will never use badges.
Bugs and Glitches
- The player's badge may not change in the leaderboards if it had been switched, removed, or replaced with its updated counterpart.
- In early 2019 a glitch caused badges to appear as white squares that couldn't be changed.
