The Death Inc is a RARE vehicle in Crash of Cars.
Never thought that death had undone many, yet it thrills the ones that remain.
Description[]
Death Inc is a black (or purple) round van or hearse-like vehicle lifted and riding on a monster truck-like chassis with oversized wheels. It has square headlights with thick, gray bumpers, and with a number '92' and a skull with glowing eyes painted on the sides.
Special Properties[]
When tapping or holding the Death Inc while it's in mid-air, it will perform stunts that awards players with points. Each flip rewards 500 points, along with an extra 500 points if a perfect landing is made.
Death Inc takes more time to perform stunts than the other two vehicles capable of stunting, BMX and Skateboard. Also, like BMX, but unlike Skateboard, it also seems to perform them laterally, instead of longitudinally. Additionally, when holding, Death Inc takes more time to stop rotating than BMX.
Strategies[]
Death Inc is a moderately fast car with mediocre mobility, with unstable handling. It handles similarly to the Clown Car, featuring lots of body roll when using power-ups with recoil such as Cannon or when turning. This is also compounded with the stunt feature, which, if done carelessly, may end up getting Death Inc stuck on jumps or forcing a wheelie, causing it to reverse course. Death Inc also has a large hit-box, as it is similar in size to that of the Survivor or Ice Cream, but it is neither a 6-health car like the former nor is as agile as the latter.
Overall, apart from its unique gimmick of performing stunts (as well as being the only legitimate 'car' to do so), Death Inc is more or less usable only on passive and casual play due to it being outclassed by a large variety of cars for its lack of strength and copious weaknesses.
Trivia[]
- This was the second vehicle that was not added to the game as part of a major update. It's promotional vehicle for NotDoppler's new Renegade Racing game.
- Death Inc's stunt ability is a reference to how vehicles in Renegade Racing can do front/back flips, though the game does not mention this ability.
- In Renegade Racing, Death Inc's name is spelled as "Death Inc.", instead of CoC's version which lacks the period at the end.
- In the Flash version of Renegade Racing, it was instead called "Death Ink".
- The RR version of this vehicle has much larger wheels for an unknown reason.
- Additionally, it is revealed that Death Inc's chassis is based on a modified Hearse, which is different from the in-game counterpart.
- In Renegade Racing, Death Inc's skull eyes do not glow when viewed in the garage, and only glow when boost is engaged in a race. Crash of Cars' version, however, feature Death Inc with eyes glowing permanently.
Bugs and Glitches[]
- The Death Inc can continually do stunts even on the ground. This was fixed in the 2020 Mansion Update, in which its also became harder for it to do stunts with.
Changes in Updates[]
- It was introduced in a bugfix for the Dungeon Update.
