The Snowmobile is a COMMON vehicle in Crash of Cars.
Unassuming initially, it has one of the best grips out there.
Unlocking[]
The snowmobile can be found on the Winterland map. To find it, the Snow Plow is required.
- Drive around randomly until you find sets of big footprints in the paved snow path. This may take a while, and remember to not take much damage.
- The direction the footprints are heading into will led to the next set of footprints (not necessarily in the paved snow path). When a third set is found, make sure you have a shield or enough health.
- Then head into the snowstorm, engage the shield if necessary (as driving into it damages the vehicle).
- If a large ice block is seen, ram the car into it
Cut-Scene[]
Deep in the blizzard, the Snowmobile appears frozen inside a huge ice block along with its yeti operator. The block defrosts and the yeti departs furiously while pounding the ground, leaving the vehicle behind.

The Snowmobile is immune to terrain-based handling penalties.
Strategies[]
Snowmobile's stats are mostly average with low mass. The ability is somewhat situational, since it only works on a handful of maps (Frozen Vale, Winterland, Sweetfields), though it works wonders against any other pursuing vehicle since they would struggle to catch up.
Much of the Snowmobile's bane, however stems from its handling. In exchange for no handling penalty on certain surfaces, the Snowmobile is quite stiff at times, often unable to respond quickly to changes, and outside of hindering terrain there are no attributes to redeem its downsides. This effectively constricts it to passive strategies.

Trivia[]
- Snowmobiles are vehicles archetype designed to handle transport across snowy and icy terrain that are difficult for other vehicles to access.
- They are primarily known for their usage by Arctic communities such as the Inuits and Eskimos, evident from its reindeer horns and Winterland's setting including igloos.
- The inclusion of the yeti is extremely inaccurate, as these mythical creatures are closely tied with the Himalayan mountains, instead of the Arctic circle.
- The Snowmobile functions normally despite the obvious lack of an operator.
- It's rear tracks resemble miniature treads from the Polar.
- Ironically, Polar, as well as many other tracked vehicles, do not have the ability to retain traction on low-friction surfaces.
- The Snowmobile is the only non-fusion car in the game to have an unmentioned ability. It is also one of the two vehicles in the entire game to have an unmentioned ability, alongside the Concept.
