The Quantum is a FUSION vehicle in Crash of Cars.
It will feel out of this world, and so shall the others in their jealous eyes.
Description[]
The Quantum is overall a purple orb Its core is a fixed, spherical cyan magnet, which is connected to the frontlights through a small frame. Gear shaped purple cells completely wrap the magnet. The centers of cells are illuminated by cyan hexagons.
Special Properties[]
Upon getting a kill, the Quantum will instantly activate a crown magnet which has a duration of 12 seconds. The duration does not stack with multiple kills, but is instead reset with each additional kill. During this period, the Quantum gains a magnet that extends retrieval range for crowns, power-up boxes as well as Health pickups.
However, when the crown magnet is activated, its pick-up range Oil slicks is also enlarged. Thus players should avoid being close to viable oil slicks in order to keep themselves safe.
It is unknown whether this is intended but while its ability is active, it will also receive significantly increased knockback when hit by Spikes.
Strategies[]
Quantum's average speed and acceleration may not catch up faster opponents, but its superior handling and smaller profile can allow it to avoid most power-ups and vehicles. A passive gameplay is more or less suitable for this vehicle. Its magnet is useful to grab crowns and power-ups from a small distance, but it also increases its hitbox as a result. Putting more distance between the Quantum and other vehicles when its magnet is active, is slightly recommended.
