The Screwdriver is an EPIC vehicle in Crash of Cars.
Not to be confused with a copyrighted character that does worse at the job.
Descriptions[]
Screwdriver is a light-blue screw-driven vehicle with matte-black tinted windows. It features a rather unorthodox tracked design, replacing its movement with silver screw pontoons. Its mud guards are grey, while the rest of the bottom is also matte-black. The cab is of a trapezoidal shape that extends beyond the mud guards and holds two smaller front lamps. Two larger ones are mounted right next to them. The windshield is divided by a beam in the middle. On top there are two symmetrical ice tubes with silver seals and contract inwards when the Freeze Cannon is fired while slowly emptying themselves. Two thick pipes stretch from these tubes' protrusions just below while a black streak slithers to the front sections. There is also a hatch in the middle that opens to the right by flipping. The back is relatively featureless aside from a matte-black vent.
Special Properties[]
When the Screwdriver hits an enemy with the Freeze Cannon's launched projectiles, the projectile will disappear as usual, and two additional smaller ones are spawned from the point of impact. These additional snowball projectiles act similar to ones launched from a Freeze Cannon without modifiers. They will not trigger the ability again.
Its first power-up obtained after spawn is always the Freeze Cannon.
Strategies[]
Offensively, Screwdriver is a great vehicle due to the nature of the Freeze Cannon as well as its integrated augments. Though heavy and with bad handling, requiring extra care on turns, its other stats are acceptable.
It is good at both single target hunting and crowd-control due to the innate potential of the snowballs, which are able to disable multiple enemies at once. Hitting an enemy can potentially initiate a chain reaction, freezing nearby enemies and giving the player an advantage.

Trivia[]
- Screwdriver is based on the Russian ZIL 2906 Screw-Driven amphibious vehicle, thus its namesake.
- Ironically, despite being designed for amphibious searching purposes, it will sink in water in this game. This is likely done for Balancing reasons.
- The Ice-Based ability is a likely reference to Russia's cold climate.
- Firing the Freeze Cannon with the vehicle produces a smooth, sliding sound.
Changes in Updates[]
- The Screwdriver was introduced in the 2019 Winterland Update as an Upcoming Vehicle.
- It also appeared on the update's loading screen along with Festive Sleigh.
- However, the Screwdriver featured on the loading screen is orange, while the in-game vehicle's default color is light blue.
- It also appeared on the update's loading screen along with Festive Sleigh.
- After the Blitz Mode Update, Screwdriver can be obtained from Car Machines.
