Strategies[]
The Street Drifter is one of the vehicle that underwent the most changes throughout the history of Crash of Cars. It was initially introduced as a relatively small car with average top speed and decent acceleration, with its excellent handling being its greatest asset, allowing precise tactical moves for dodging threats.
In 2019, the Street Drifter later received a top speed nerf as a part of the Golf Course Update, making it as slow as most 6-health vehicles, and thus rendered it vulnerable against close-range weaponry and projectiles fired at short ranges.
In its third and current iteration after the Raptor Ridge Update, the Street Drifter are now resembles the GT in terms of performances, with very good acceleration and above average top speed, but its handling are now slippery without the use of a handbrake turn.
Before its current version, the Street Drifter are generally played as a passive vehicle, being excel at close-range combat due to its handling, but struggle in a brawl due to its low top speed. In the current version, however, the Street Drifter's gameplay are largely opposite, with its higher speed and acceleration allows it to chase slower cars and regain its top speed after using hard turns, though the car may often veer off course due to its poor surface grip, which can be fatal if you are near the water surface or a pit. As such, the Street Drifter would often requires micromanagement in controlling its turn with handbrakes to execute precise movements for dodging or attacking enemies.
