The Submarine is a LEGENDARY vehicle in Crash of Cars.
In the vile enclosure of the dark waters, even metal will rust and rot.
Descriptions[]

Special Properties[]
After entering a water area, Submarine teleports to another one on the map, though usually not the same area it entered.
This ability has a cool down of 8 seconds.
When its ability activates, or after killing an enemy, Submarine plays sonar audio for several seconds.
Strategies[]
The Submarine is a peculiar vehicle with an unstable ability. In terms of mobility it is amongst the lower spectrum of Legendary vehicles, having an elongated chassis, high mass, but poor speed, handling and acceleration. While obsoleted elsewhere, it becomes surprisingly devastating when there are death zones for it to exploit. The usual approach of drowning pursuers that often involve health loss can be made drastically easier as Submarine simply hops away from the threat. Given the extreme distance between water areas in general, the merit of convenience in distance shaprly reduces its vulnerability as it will often warp beyond the reach of any attacker and deny their kill. Favourable maps tend to contain multiple entry & exit points, confusing opponents whist allowing an element of surprise to be delivered with surgical precision via an inexpected intervention. The cooldown isn't too long, either, granting additional flexibility, even beyond contingencies.
Unfortunately, Submarine's attributes are only theoretically functional. In terms of general gameplay, the horrendous performance severely cripples its potential. Having some of the longest hitboxes, Submarine will struggle to avoid enemy attacks, further exacerbated by its low top speed. Its high mass and a mere 6 health are insufficient in offsetting its weakness, removing any general use beyond its niche. The ability also inherently backfires more often than not simply due to how it works - On maps with several suitable areas, the unpredictable teleportation is a double-edged sword, decieving both enemies and users alike, the latter unable to react if they instead land in the midst of hazards, let alone defensive or offensive applications, as the Submarine may be destroyed in seconds before it could execute any. For predictable ones like Volcano, this leaves it at risk of an ambush, where inevitable damage or imminent destruction could be easily instigated by just a simple collision, where the somewhat short cooldown isn't enough to alleviate this either.
One of the worst Legendary vehicles, Submarine's intense emphasis on its ability intimidates every player seeking competition. While it isn't the only one with extreme dependency on its niche and has its charm when it makes all the difference, there are little viable scenarios, and ultimately it fails at every purpose it is grafted with, instead falling deep below even recreational vehicles like thw War Machine.

Trivia[]
- The Submarine's model was never specified.
- Its ability and sonar audio may refer to how real-life Submarines dive and resurface to ambush or avoid foes.
- This implies that water bodies in the game are connected to each other internally.
- It is unknown how can a Submarine cruise on land. It has no wheels or any component present on conventional land vehicles.
- Its headlights were placed in erratic locations. A real submarine is not even highly reliant on lights due to poor visibility underwater, hence the need for sonar.
- Furthermore, real-life submarines are capable of long-term cruising and can sink/float at demand and will usually not be affected by water whatsoever.
- Its size is unrealistic, as naval vehicles are usually much larger than terrestrial ones in order to maintain buoyancy. In reality, it would be many times the dimension of a Monster Bus or Tipper, and possibly the largest vehicle in the entire game.
- Its ability and sonar audio may refer to how real-life Submarines dive and resurface to ambush or avoid foes.
- When the Submarine turns, the periscope and tail rudder will rotate accordingly.
- The Submarine drags cyan and white wave trails in-game from its tail.
- In regular gameplay, the Submarine's tail rotors spin, but not in the vehicle selection screen.
Bugs and Glitches[]
- If Teleport was used when it drops into the water while its ability activates normally it is possible to glitch out of bounds, destroying it instantly.
- Power-ups can clip through the tail of the Submarine.
Changes in Updates[]
- The Submarine was introduced in the Water Park Update as an Upcoming Vehicle.
- After the Castle Update, Submarine can be obtained from Prize Machines.
