The Tyrant is a FUSION vehicle in Crash of Cars.
Who needs a van for kidnapping when you got a claw?
Description[]
Tyrant is a deep red zepplin with fins on the back, a small cabin with 4 windows, and a giant claw behind it. When The Claw has been acquired, smoke will pour out of its smaller exhausts.
Special Properties[]
The Tyrant has access to The Claw, allowing it to snatch a nearby vehicle and engage in powered flight. It has a duration of 8 seconds.
Strategies[]
Because of the Claw, the Tyrant is truly the ruler of the matches it plays, hence its name. It is advised to use its unique powerup on maps with sheer drops and lots of hazards such as holes, water, landmines, explosive barrels, attacks from other players and/or lava. It is recommended for the Tyrant to grab vehicles with no powerups, as they may still damage it if they have a powerup while being grappled, such as Flamethrower, Landmines, or a way to escape from the claw's grasp such as Teleport or Boost. Flying over any bumps is also not recommended as it will allow the victims to have more time and chance at escaping.
While its ability to send enemies into hazards with its claw can be powerful, its overall stats are below average. Its mobility is rather slow, having pitiful acceleration when grounded, and mediocre yet stable handling. When flying however, its acceleration gets a significant boost, but at the expense of greatly reduced stability, which can make maneuvers trickier than if one were to drive the Fury.
If the Tyrant runs out of flight, instead of slowly descending like the Plane or Bomber Plane would, it sinks immediately. This can be dangerous if they were to drop an enemy into hazards right before the flight timer runs out, as it will also put the Tyrant into the once desired hazards, much like its victim.
